Shipping Policy

All sellers has to give Free shipping to the customer for all their products which is listed on Vedson.in website/application/m-site.

Seller has to add shipping charges in the offer/selling price only.

If any delivery charges is levied in the order than that delivery charges is income of the Vedson and Vedson is eligible to get that delivery charge from the customer and this delivery charge will not be included in sellers payout even if it is mentioned in the product invoice made by the seller.

Please follow below instructions before and after shipping of the product

1) Pack the package properly in a cartoon box (Take Video for your safety purpose).

2) Mark Order as Ready To Ship in Manage Order against that order in seller panel.

3) At the time of Marking order to Ready To Ship - Write Accurate weight in grams and dimension of the package length * width * height in cm.

4) Please take 3 print out of Invoice, 1 print out of packing slip and 2 print outs of manifest.

5) Put 1 Invoice copy inside the package box.

6) Paste packing slip on the package such that address of the customer and AWB number must be clearly visible on top of the package.

7) At the time of handover the package to the courier person, please take details and signature of the courier person in the manifest, give 1 manifest and invoice to the courier person.

8) Manifest signed must be uploaded in the order to mark the order as shipped in manager order under particular order. This uploaded manifest will help at the time of dispute regarding collection of the package from the seller by courier person.

9) Manifest signed by courier person must be kept with the seller for their records.

Our Logistics Shipping Courier Partner

We work with the following carriers to deliver items to our customers. If you have an issue with your pick-up, delivery, you can contact the carrier directly or contact to our seller support email sellersupport@vedson.in.

Your package will be picked-up by our shipping logistics partner between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm anytime during the day as per convenience of the logistics partner. Please coordinate with the logistics partner staff when they call to you for pick-up of the package.

When shipment is out for delivery to the customer than it may be delivered to customer between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on the same day as per convenience of logistics company.

When return order reverse pick up is to be done from customer address than it may be pick up between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on the same day as per convenience of logistics company.

When return order shipment is out for delivery to seller than it may be delivered to seller between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on the same day as per convenience of logistics company.

For Shipment and fulfillment there are 2 ways to do so.

1)Vedson Fulfilled – Vedson Shipping logistics partner will pick-up the package from the seller and Ship the Product to the customer.

In this seller can choose Vedson Shipping logistics partner company and by this Vedson/Shipping Partner will pickup and ship the product to the customer. The amount of forward shipping charges+GST will be charged to the seller and that amount will be deducted from seller payout order wise or seller statement of account. Seller is responsible to source, sell, pack, and make package ready to ship and handover to Vedson Logistics Shipping partner to deliver the package to the customer in Vedson Fulfilled Orders.

Steps required to fulfil Vedson Fulfilled ship order (Vedson Fulfilled Orders)

Procure, Pick, Pack (Offline)

Mark an Order as Confirm (Online on Vedson)

Mark an order as Ready To Ship, select courier name, write Length, Breadth, Width in cm, dead weight and click on submit (Online on Vedson)

Upload the Manifest in an order to mark order as Shipped (Online on Vedson)

2)Seller Fulfilled - Seller himself will Ship the Product.

In this seller himself has to ship the product to the customer, Select self ship in manage orders and select pre integrated courier company name, mention AWB/Tracking number and upload the courier receipt/manifest so that online tracking can be done of the product to the customer. After selecting Self Ship if seller can’t find courier name through which seller want to ship or has shipped than seller can select OTHER option, after selecting OTHER option seller will get 1 new text box where seller can write courier name, AWB/Tracking number and Tracking URL for tracking the courier status online by the system automatically. The amount of shipping charges seller has to pay by himself and forward shipping amount will not be deducted from seller payout.

Seller is responsible to source, sell, pack, fulfill, ship, and deliver the products to customer in case of Seller Fulfilled Orders.

Steps required to fulfil a self ship order (Seller Fulfilled Orders)

Procure, Pick, Pack (Offline)

Mark an Order as Confirm (Online on Vedson)

Handover the order to your shipping company (Offline)

Mark an Order as Ready To Ship and give Courier Name, ABW/Tracking Number and Tracking URL (Online on Vedson)

Upload the Manifest/courier receipt in an order to mark order as Shipped (Online on Vedson)

Follow up with logistics (Offline)

Confirm Delivery (Online on Vedson))

Follow up with Installation service partner/brand (Offline)

3)Reverse Pickup - Reverse Pickup will always be picked up and shipped back to the seller in case of return/refund/replacement/exchange request by Vedson Shipping Partner Only.

If pick-up from customer pin code is not serviceable by our shipping partner than customer has to do self ship to the seller and amount of the courier charges vedson will credit in Vedson Credit/loyalty point of the customer Vedson Credit. And that amount is to be borne by the seller. In case vedson send email to the seller to arrange reverse pickup from the customer address than seller has to arrange reverse pickup at sellers own cost (in this case customer will not be given any courier charges of returns done by the seller).

4)Reship Shipment – Reship will also be done through Vedson/Shipping Partner or by seller self ship.

The amount of Reship charges + GST will be charged to the seller and that amount will be deducted from seller payout in order wise and seller statement of account in case seller has used Vedson Logistics Shipping Partner.

If seller use self ship option to ship the product through his own shipping partner than Reship amount + GST will not be deducted from seller payout order wise or seller statement of account.

Reship will be done in case of any exchange/replacement of the product to the customer for any order.

5)Seller has to take transit insurance in case of forward shipment, reverse pick up shipment and reship shipment of the product

irrespective of seller has used Vedson Fulfilled or Seller Fulfilled or customer has send back reverse ship product by customer themselves.

 

6)Seller will be only responsible for in transit damage, defective, misplace, loss of package or any other issue related to the products and product package in case of forward shipment, reverse pickup, reship, returns and in any transit. Seller is only responsible for all transit related issue irrespective of seller has availed the service of vedson logistics partner or done self ship through any other courier company.

In case seller has shipped the order by Vedson Fulfilled than in case of any damage/misplace/lost of the package by the Vedson Logistcis shipping partner company than as per policy of the shipping company which Vedson have signed with them, only that much amount shipping company is liable to pay and that to the final decision will be of the shipping company and in that decision there is no responsibility of Vedson to fulfill your financial damage or losses which is caused to you. Shipping company’s agreement terms and conditions with Vedson will be also applicable and agreeable to the seller in case seller choose to ship product package through vedson fulfilled shipping partner.

In case seller has himself shipped the order through their own shipping company partner or by self ship than in case of any damage/misplace/lost of the package or any other consequences for that seller only will be responsible.

Seller has to take insurance of the order value of the product in case of forward shipment, reverse pickup and reship product.

So we recommend to take 110% of the insurance of the order value of the product which seller ship through vedson shipping logistics partner or seller do self ship to the customer directly in case of vedson fulfilled or seller fulfilled both the cases.

7)In case of Forward/Reverse/Reship shipping charges through Vedson Fulfilled shipping amount will be calculated on basis of Weight or Volumetric weight (L*B*H)/5000 in cm whichever is higher will be calculated the weight of the shipped product and debited in statement of account and order wise account summary. Shipping charges may vary in case actual weight or volumetric weight is higher than mentioned by the seller at the time of Ready To Ship Status. Than that difference amount of shipping charges which shipping company charge/bill us later will be debited from seller statement of account and will be adjusted against any order received/future order. If you have any complain regarding the shipping charges differential amount levied by the shipping company due to mismatch in weight or volumetric weight than you must tell us within 7 days of the amount debited to your account with full proof of photo of the weight of the package and volumetric size measuring with the tape photos or videos will be very much appreciated to take the issue with the shipping company, but in this case shipping companies decision will be final and seller will be liable to pay to vedson that difference amount of the shipment. Vedson will not be liable for difference in shipping amount which is charged against sellers order by the shipping company.

Volumetric weight will be calculated as per the shipping companies calculation which they have done agreement with Vedson and that agreement is also agreeable to seller also. You can check shipping charge structure in shipping fee policy.

8)Seller has to mention exact weight, height, length and breadth. If seller is not writing exact weight, height, length and breadth than vedson will penalise the same amount of the difference amount of shipping charge to the seller.

What is estimated Delivery Time?

Estimated delivery time depends on the customer location and seller location.

Courier companies delivery schedule.

Product availability with the seller.

Are there any hidden costs (Sales tax, octroi etc) on items sold by sellers on Vedson?

There are NO hidden charges when you make a purchase on Vedson. List prices are final and all-inclusive. The price you see on the product page is exactly what customer would pay.

Delivery/shipping Charges are not hidden charges and are charged extra depending on the orders and shipping policy of the Vedson.

Delivery/shipping charge whichever is paid by the customer for any order, vedson is eligible to get that delivery charges, seller will not get that delivery charges in seller payout.

As a seller i cannot ship product to customer area. Why?

In some cases Vedson logistics shipping partner is not serviceable for some pin-codes. So for that pin-codes seller has to do self ship by using their own logistics partner which has online tracking facility to track the AWB number.

Whether your location can be serviced or not depends on

The availability of reliable courier partners in customer location

Any legal restrictions, if any in shipping particular products to your location.

Why is the COD option not offered to all customers location?

Availability of COD depends on the ability of our courier partner servicing customer location to accept cash as payment at the time of delivery.

Or depends on sellers whether for that particular product seller has selected COD available- YES so that particular product will be available for COD payment to the customers on Vedson.

For some products seller can Keep COD Available to YES and for some products same seller can keep COD Available to NO. It totally depends on sellers to keep COD Available for their products or not.

Vedson can change this COD Available – NO to YES or YES To NO at vedson sole discretion, and seller has to agree for such COD Available – YES option which Vedson has changed at admin level at the time of product approval.

Our courier partners have limits on the cash amount payable on delivery depending on the destination and customers order value might have exceeded this limit. Customer has to enter pin code on the product page to check if COD is available in your location or not.

For any Return Request of an item from the customer how to handle it and how do i arrange for reverse pick-up?

After the customer raise return request seller has to accept the return/replacement/exchange request and select whether reverse pickup of the return product seller has to initiate than select yes.

If seller select Reverse Pickup = Yes

This means that reverse pick-up of the product will be initiated and seller want product back from the customer.

Reverse Pickup – No

Seller does not want reverse pick-up of the product and seller does not want product back from the customer and customer can keep the old product with customer himself.

In case of replacement/exchange seller will reship new product to the customer.

Wherever possible our shipping logistics partner will facilitate the reverse pick-up of the item. In case, the pick-up cannot be arranged through our logistics partner, customer can return the item through a third-party courier service or seller has to arrange for reverse pickup of the product from the customer address through their own courier partner. In this case seller has to send us shipping label on sellersupport@vedson.in to update in the system. Return fees are borne by the seller. Return pick-up will be arranged after the seller gives approval of the reverse pick-up of an return request.

What do the different tags like “In Stock”, “Preorder” means?

In Stock- In stock means that the product which customer is seeing on product detail page is available for purchase, but it may change when final payment is done on the payment page.

Preorder- Such items are expected to be released soon and can be pre-booked for customer. The item will be shipped to customer on the day of it’s official release launch (Stock Available on date) and will reach to customer in 3 to 6 business days.

Pre-booking Available Upto (Pre-booking Ends on) means this is the last date on which customer can do pre-booking of the product which is available.

Pre-booking duration for every product item will varies from item to item.

Out Of Stock- Currently the item is not available for sale.

Does Vedson deliver Internationally?

As of now Vedson deliver product only at shipping address in India Only.

But Customers can buy the products with Indian Cards as well as International cards as allowed by our payment gateway providers.

In case of COD orders will seller need to pay for RTO?

Yes, in case of COD orders sellers need to pay Return To Origin Charges in case customer do not accept the courier package.

In case of COD orders will seller need to pay for Forward Shipping charges?

Yes, in case of COD orders sellers need to pay Forward Shipping Charges in case customers do not accept the order package.

Will Seller require to upload manifest after the courier package is handover to the logistics person?

Yes, Seller is required to upload the manifest after the courier package is handover to the logistics person. This will be beneficial for the seller, if in future any dispute happens regarding the order package. And than only order status will be converted to shipped status.

If seller write less weight and less dimension height * breadth * length in cm at the time of Ready To Ship step than what will happen?

If seller write wrong weight and wrong dimensions at the time of Ready To Ship step. Shipping company also checks weight and dimensions at shipping company office. If they find that seller has mentioned less weight and less dimension at the time of Ready To Ship Step and the weight or volumetric dimensional weight is higher than seller mentioned, than shipping company will revise the shipping charges which will be higher than the charges levied before and also vedson and shipping company can penalize the seller for this misconduct and misrepresentation of the weight and dimension upto 100% of the shipping charges.

Vedson will debit that difference of shipping amount from the seller statement of account summary or from other current order amount or future order amount.

In case any difference in reverse ship charges is found by the shipping company than shipping company will charge vedson extra shipping amount for that order and that amount seller is liable to pay to vedson or vedson can adjust that difference amount from seller statement of account summary or from other current order amount or future order amount.

What is volumetric weight formulae?

Volumetric Weight Formulae = (Length * Breadth * Height)/5000

Length, Breadth, Height = in cms

Example) If dead/actual weight of the package is 1 Kg and its volumetric dimension is Length=20 cm, Breadth= 20 cm, Height= 15 cm.

Than volumetric weight of the package will be (20*20*15)/5000 = 1.2 Kgs.

For this package shipping company will charge for 1.5 Kg shipping charge as per volumetric weight.

Shipping company charge for actual/dead weight or volumetric weight whichever is higher.

Can seller get POD in case of any complain or issue?

Yes, seller can get POD if seller request for the same by raising the query against an order number mentioning requirement of the POS and issue. Within 7 days of the order is delivered. After that vedson will not be in obligation to provide proof of delivery of the shipments beyond such period.
